Hong Kong Government Scholarship 2023 – Fully Funded

Hong Kong Government Scholarship 2023 applications are now open. Hong Kong Scholarships are Fully Funded Scholarships for International Students. This year there will be 300 scholarships available. Students with a Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) are eligible to apply directly for the Hong Kong PhD fellowship, and international students can apply for Hong Kong scholarships.

 

Students from around the world can study at the top 8 universities in Hong Kong. The top 8 universities offer programs in all academic fields. There is no requirement for academic background. For the year 2023, 300 scholarships will be awarded to study in Hong Kong. If you have studied in English medium, you are not required to take any language test like IELTS.

 Hong Kong Government Scholarships aim to attract the best and brightest students. There are no application fees for Hong Kong Government Scholarships. Fellowships will cover all expenses incurred during the scholarship for the full duration of the program. Hong Kong universities are among the top 100 universities in the world. Financial Benefits

  • An annual stipend of HK$309,600 (approximately US$39,700) (to cover housing and food).

Online applications for the Hong Kong Government Scholarship 2023 are due by the 1st December 2023 for all of the above universities.

How to Apply

Before applying for Ph.D. admission to their desired universities, eligible candidates must submit an Initial Application online through the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme Electronic System (HKPFSES) by 1st December 2023 to obtain an HKPFS Reference Number.

 

  • Step 1: Submit an initial application to the Research Grants Council
  • Step 2: Submit full applications to all proposed universities
