McGill University Undergraduate Scholarships 2022

1. One-year Entrance Scholarships

A major undergraduate scholarship at McGill University was awarded to students. The One-Year Entrance Scholarship program attracts international students, especially from outside Canada. Scholarships are awarded to students enrolling for the first time at McGill University. Usually for full-time studies. Exchange, transferring, and part-time students are not eligible for these scholarships.

3. McCall MacBain Prestige Entrance Scholarships 2022

John H. McCall MacBain (BA, McGill University, 1980) established this exceptional entrance scholarship program in 1995. Former President of McGill Students’ Society and Rhodes scholar MacBain was an alumnus of the University. Applicants for this scholarship program should demonstrate outstanding academic potential and be planning to enroll in the school of Arts as undergraduates.

In order to promote educational merit within the BSc in Nursing program, the university offers two scholarships funded by this foundation to outstanding current undergraduate students within the school of Science. Ingram School of Nursing’s scholarship committee commonly administers this program for students in the school of sciences.

Scholarship value:

Every year, two scholarships are awarded with a CAD 2500 financial package.

Eligibility criteria:

Students should have completed at least one year of their BSc program within the School of Science or at least one year of their BSc in Nursing program. International students are given preference, but students from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.

McGill University Postgraduate Scholarships 2022

1. Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarships

One of the few McGill University scholarships available to international postgraduate students.

Scholarship value:

Scholarships are valued at approximately CAD 60,000 per scholar each year. A travel allowance of CAD 20,000 is also provided. The contract is valid for up to three years.

Eligibility criteria:

You should have been accepted into a full-time doctoral program. Additionally, the doctoral research should focus on specific themes listed on the scholarship website. Both Canadian and non-Canadian/international students are eligible to apply.

Eligible degree:

Students are due to study a Ph.D. program within the social science or humanities faculties.

Application process:
