Bangor University 2023 Commonwealth Masters Scholarships for African Students – UK

A Commonwealth Masters Scholarship for African students will be offered by Bangor University in 2023.

A Master’s degree at Bangor University in the United Kingdom is open to citizens of any Commonwealth country who reside in Africa.

Scholarships will cover tuition fees and living costs in addition to tuition fees. Furthermore, the scholarships will cover travel expenses to and from the UK.

University of Oxford UK Africa Oxford (AfOx) Visiting Fellows Program for African Scholars for Master

For the 2023 academic year, the University of Oxford UK offers the AfOx Visiting Fellows Program for African Scholars. Research projects that will contribute to the development of their countries and societies are supported by the program. Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) Fellows will be based at Oxford University’s Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx) and have the chance to engage with leading scholars and academics.

Up to twelve African scholars will be able to spend three months at the University of Oxford UK during the 2023 academic year through the AfOx Visiting Fellows Program. Applicants who are working on research projects that address one or more of the following themes will be given preference for fellowships awarded on a competitive basis:

  • African economic development
  • African political economy
  • Governance and leadership in Africa
  • Peace and security in Africa
  • African social and cultural studies.

In addition to a monthly stipend, fellows will receive travel expenses and visa costs back home. During their stay at Oxford, each Fellow will have access to office space and library resources provided by AfOx.

Chevening Scholarships for Nigerian Students 2023

The Chevening Scholarships program is run by the UK government. Our fully funded master’s degree awards are funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organizations.

  • Work experience of at least two years (including internships and voluntary work)
  • You must meet the Chevening English language requirement by 1 September 2021 if you are selected for a scholarship (if you have not already met this requirement, you must take an approved English test).

SOAS University of London 2023 Margaret Busby New Daughters of Africa Award for African Women

SOAS University of London Margaret Busby New Daughters of Africa Award for African Women offers African women the opportunity to study at one of the world’s leading universities.
