#1Eiffel Scholarship Programme of Excellence 

 

French higher education institutions use the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program to attract top international students to their master’s and PhD programs.

Foreign decision-makers in public and private sectors have the opportunity to study in priority areas. The program encourages applicants up to 25 years old from developing countries at the master’s level, and applicants up to 30 years old from developing and industrialized countries at the Ph.D. level.

#2Boston University Presidential Scholarship 2021 

First-year students from around the world who exhibit exceptional academic achievement are eligible for the Presidential Scholarship. According to the university’s website, in addition to being among our most talented students, they also excel outside the classroom and are leaders in their schools and communities. It has a value of US$25,000 and is available to international students.

  • Deadline: Dec. 1, 2021

 

#3Chevening Scholarship

During one year, Chevening Scholars are able to study a master’s degree in the UK under the supervision of experienced UK academics. In order to qualify for a Chevening award, you need to be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory and plan to return there within two years of receiving your award.

#4Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme

The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme is a well-established national initiative funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and managed by the Council for Postgraduate Studies.

 

A few of its features include individual, prestigious awards named after the applicant; an objective review process using international, independent expert juries; funding across all disciplines, from archaeology to zoology; and non-directed awards provided by strategic funding partners.

  • Deadline: Oct. 21, 2021

 

#5Gates Cambridge Scholarship

The Gates Cambridge Trust was established in October 2000 as a result of a US$210 million gift from the Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge.

 

Applications are now being accepted for the academic year 2022-23. Depending on the course you are applying to, there are two possible application deadlines. Results will be announced in February 2022.

 

  • Deadline: Either Dec. 2, 2021 or Jan. 6, 2022

 

#6Commonwealth Scholarship Programme 2022

This scholarship is for Pakistani students seeking to pursue a full-time master’s or PhD in the UK. The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, manages this program together with the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK.

 

There is a comprehensive list of programmes, eligibility, financial coverage/benefits, duration, and further classification of themes of study on their website.

  • Deadline: November 1, 2022

 

You shouldn’t discount your chances of receiving a scholarship because some are more selective than others. It is also important for students to be aware that many universities offer scholarships 2021 when they apply to a particular programme with the university. Some scholarships are automatic, while others require students to apply, so be sure to do your research.
